First established in 1865, this non-profit, non-affiliated full-service hospital is now housed in a modern, five-story building complete with the latest in electronic imaging technology. Boasting the only Level III trauma center in Northern New Mexico, St. Vincent's treats over 56,000 emergency patients each year. Services include an eight-bed cardiac care unit, a 13-bed pediatric unit, a transitional care unit, and new in 1992, a complete cancer center with the only 3D treatment planner of its kind in the Southwest.
