If you are in Brazil sometime in the early winter, chances are that you will catch this famous event. This gay parade is a fun fiesta that takes place every year. About two million people dressed in crazy outfits gather on Avenida Paulista. The event usually is inaugurated by the Mayor of São Paulo and the carnival goes from Avenida Paulista to downtown São Paulo.
