This is one of the most popular short film festivals in all of Latin America. This event is possible due to the help of the non profit organization Kinoforum Cultural Association. Filmmakers from around the globe gather here every year between August and September to share thoughts and experiences of short films. It presents the largest production of Brazil films and short films from Latin America. Moreover, it also showcases the Kinoforum Workshop's production and the National Documentary Filmmakers Association Meetings.
