Taking place at the Vertigo Theater, this bizarre event boasts the strangest title of all Calgary's biennial festivals. This is little surprise, though, considering the festival is curated by The Green Fools, Calgary's weirdest theatre troupe. The event is, in a sense, a puppet festival with a difference. Audiences are treated to a diverse schedule of performances by a diverse group of international artists. Events include puppet shows (some suitable for children, others decidedly not so) that feature everything from the simplest 'socks-on-hands' to giant marionettes. There are also workshops and lectures. Ticket prices, venues and showtimes vary; call for details.
