Florida Dance Festival features workshops and classes in virtually every genre of dance. From the classical grace of ballet to the sensual movements of modern dance, this event offers a place to become familiar with different aspects of the art of dance. The festival also features many exciting forms including salsa, African, Spanish and Japanese butoh. To complement the learning component, a performance series presents such companies as Mark Dendy Dance of New York and Chuck Davis' African American Dance Ensemble.
