The New York Racing Association is responsible for maintaining this city racetrack. At only one dollar for general admission bets start at a dollar,a world of entertainment unfolds at "The Big A" in Queens. Every conceivable type of handicap race is offered here, each attracting the top horses and jockeys because of generous purses. A fine restaurant, grill, bar, smoking lounge, sports bar, children's playroom, arcade and picnic area are available so that the entire family can enjoy the day. No races during the summer.
