Main Street Cafe serves deli sandwiches, soups, vegan sandwiches, and Caribbean specialties in a downtown Homestead location. The sandwiches and specialty items are very good, but the locals come for the soup—it's that good. The soups are ladled from a 'soup bar' at the rear of the restaurant; the options change daily and range from traditional to inventive and daring. Specialty items include conch salad, chicken potpie, smoked mahi and pizza. Ceiling fans and a glass storefront give the café a traditional delicatessen feel.
